This page explains how to delete your Lucy Abroad account and data.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Lucy Abroad and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and personal data are permanently removed.
Request deletion without the app
If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify and process the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, name, email, profile photo, and profile details (region, country, languages, profession, preferences).
- Your saved items, event interest, and authentication credentials.
- Your business listings are removed from the directory.
What may be retained
- Comments may be retained in anonymized form (shown as "Deleted user") so existing discussions remain readable.
- Limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, and are deleted when no longer needed.
