These Terms govern your use of the Lucy Abroad app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• post spam, scams, fraudulent offers, or misleading business information;
• infringe anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
• attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Zero tolerance: there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report content and block users in the app. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, typically acting within 24 hours of a valid report.

3. Business listings

If you submit a business listing, you confirm you are authorized to represent that business and that the information is accurate and not misleading. Listings are reviewed before publication and may be edited, rejected, removed, or featured at our discretion. "Featured" placement does not imply endorsement.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant Lucy Abroad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for the content you post.

5. Moderation & termination

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms or harm other users or the service. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

6. Third-party content & links

The app surfaces news, opportunities, and business information, and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or websites, and inclusion does not imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of content (including news, guides, exchange rates, and business information). Use it at your own discretion.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucy Abroad and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
